The replacement cartridges are required every six months. There is no need to order a full unit to replace the system. You will need to purchase the cartridge only at a lower cost than the full unit.  Simply remove the dome (if applicable) and use pliers to take out the cartridge from the sleeve and replace it with the new one. The replacement cartridge is available for just £47.95 + VAT and postage.
